White House advisers, teachers of the prestigious MIT, academics … Up to seventeen “internationally recognized professionals with extensive experience in the energy sector” have collaborated in the drafting of “Green Power: Renewable energy and electricity system”, a work that wants to be either “essentially informative” and has been prolonged by EU Energy Commissioner, Günther Oettinger.
The book “Green Power: Renewable energy and electricity system”, whose presentation will take place in Madrid on September 21, boasts “a visible and practical” and seeks to answer questions like “why is it necessary to support renewable energy , how and how much to subsidize green power generation or what are the costs associated with renewable electricity. ” The work has been published by the Foundation Rafael del Pino and the consultancy LECG, and wants to “inform, engage and educate as much as possible of the population on this issue in order to achieve a secure energy system, sustainable and economically sound.”
Among the authors who have participated in the drafting of the book is White House aides and the European Union on energy, as well as renowned academics worldwide. Among them, the three principal authors: Jorge Padilla, PhD in economics from Oxford and is currently chief executive of financial consultancy LECG Europe, Boaz Moselle, a former adviser to the president of the association of energy regulators in the European Union, and Richard Schmalensee, professor Business and Economics at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).
Rafael del Pino Foundation is defined as a private non-profit organization that provides, among its general purpose, development, protection and support to educational, cultural, social, cooperative and stimulating the economy. Its aim is “to contribute to improving knowledge of the leaders of Spain’s future, the promotion of individual initiative and the promotion of free market principles and free enterprise.” Rafael del Pino Moreno (1920-2008) was the founder of Grupo Ferrovial. LECG is defined as global consultancy with over a thousand professionals in 37 countries.

Es muy interesante ver que ya se esta empezando a tomar un mayor interes por las energias renovables, debido a que ya hemos deteriorado demasiado nuestro medio ambiente, ya es tiempo de que empezemos a caminar hacia un futuro sin contaminacion…
